Junior
Classes

Children need specially
tailored programmes to learn the Martial Arts in a non-violent way, and to use
it for discipline, character building, concentration, fitness and self-defence.
Our system offers this and more, which many other Martial Arts systems lack.
The Kids classes are separate from adult classes because it is widely
acknowledged that children have different needs to adults.
We teach children how to defend themselves in a safe environment, by showing
that martial arts can be a fun activity for the whole family! We receive much
praise from parents who are impressed by the caring, but disciplined family
atmosphere that exists in our children’s classes.

Bullying
At some point in their lifetime, particularly during the
school years, our children may become victims of bullying. This can cause great
emotional and physical trauma to both parents and children as they struggle to
find positive ways to combat the problem. It is important for the junior
student to remember to avoid using their karate skills in the playground
environment, perhaps to show friends what they know. However, the use of some
of the basic release skills taught in our junior classes can be invaluable in
difficult situations, and have the advantage of not hurting anyone. If your
child is being bullied please speak to a teacher, the school principal or a
school counsellor. Dr Ken Rigby of
